Queen of The Night Tuberose

Tuberose Odore Mio

Tuberose is a night-blooming plant native to Mexico.  The distinctly seductive scent characteristic to this plant earned it international fame and place among most exquisite perfume materials. Tuberose is often described as The Queen of the Night for its luxurious seductive notes.  And for this reason young girls in Victorian England were forbidden contact with this plant.  Odore Mio perfumers use Tuberose oils in several compositions.

Tuberoses were especially beloved by Louis XIV of France, who had them planted in the hundreds in the flower beds of the Grand Trianon at Versailles so that the scent was overpowering. They were grown in clay pots and planted directly in the ground; to keep the perfume consistently strong new specimens were rotated in, sometimes daily. French Queen Marie Antoinette used tuberose in her personal perfume.

Tuberose is present various Odore Mio compositions. One of the most prominent tuberose based perfumes from Odore Mio will be Goldleaf Femme OM 62.
